For law firms
Practice management that works the way your firm does.
Case and matter management, client portals and billing workflows, specified with your firm and built exactly to it — on dedicated infrastructure no other firm touches, priced by server size instead of by headcount.
Per-seat practice management charges you for every hire and asks your firm to work the way the product does: configure the fields, pick from the dropdowns, work around the gaps. A firm's workflows — intake, conflicts, matters, billing, trust accounting — are exactly the kind of system we specify and build. You approve the specification and a firm fixed price before we write a line of code.
What we build for firms
Your practice, as a system.
Case & matter management
Every matter, deadline, document and note in one place, shaped around your practice areas rather than a vendor's template.
Client intake & portals
A branded portal at a web address on your own domain — portal.yourfirm.com — where clients submit forms and documents. Portal users are always free.
Billing, trust & reporting
Time capture, rate rules, trust and retainer handling, and the reports your bookkeeper and your bar require.
Documents & templates
Engagement letters, filings and standard documents generated from live matter data.
Conflicts & compliance
Rules encoded as workflow: conflict checks on intake, approvals that leave a trail, an audit log on every record.
Whatever runs your firm
If your team does it every day in spreadsheets and email, it can be part of the system.
Confidentiality
Client files deserve better than a shared instance.
Your firm's system runs in a dedicated AWS account: your own web server, your own encrypted database, encrypted backups with tested restores. No other client of ours — and no other firm — shares any of it. Access is role-based inside the application, and every change is logged: who, what, when. We come from clinical research, where systems hold patient data and are audited; privileged client files get the same standard of control.
- A dedicated AWS account, one per firm — transferred to you if you ever leave
- Encryption in transit and at rest, with managed keys
- Role-based access with a full audit trail on every record
- Your own domain for staff and client sign-in — not a vendor's URL
- Your choice of AWS region, so client data lives where your rules say it must
- AI only on your terms — client files never touch a model unless you choose it
The numbers
What a 20-person firm pays, both ways.
A 20-person law firm replaces per-seat practice management
Leading legal practice-management platforms publish list prices of roughly $49 to $149 per user per month before add-ons. Call it $119 for a mid-tier plan across 20 people.
Jarrett Group figures: illustrative build + Medium configuration.
| Period | Typical SaaS | Jarrett Group |
|---|---|---|
| Year one incl. build | $28,560 | $23,940 |
| Every year after | $28,560 | $8,940 |
| Over 3 years | $85,680 | $41,820 |
A hypothetical example, not a quote. SaaS figures reflect published list prices as of October 2026 and exclude implementation fees. Your actual build price is fixed in writing after the specification. No claim of equivalent functionality is implied.
