Privacy statement

We track as little as the site can run on.

Last updated October 25, 2026

We build systems for people whose data is regulated, so we hold our own website to the same standard of restraint. This page describes everything this site collects. It is short because the list is short.

What we do not collect

  • No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixel, and no third-party script of any kind on this site. Every file the site loads is served from our own domain.
  • No advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not use advertising cookies, fingerprinting, or any technology that follows you to or from other websites, and we do not share data with advertising networks.
  • No tracking cookies. The only cookie this site sets is a short-lived session cookie used to protect the contact form against forged submissions. It identifies your browsing session to our server for that purpose only, and it is not used to profile you.

What we collect, and why

  • Contact form submissions. If you send us a message, we store what you typed (name, email, organization, message) in our own database, together with your IP address and browser identification string, which we keep for abuse prevention. A notification containing your submission is delivered to our internal team channel so we can reply. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry.
  • Abuse prevention. To limit automated spam, our server briefly records a one-way hash of the IP address of each form submission. These records expire within an hour and cannot be turned back into an address.
  • Server logs. Like virtually every web server, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser identification). We use them for security monitoring and operations, and they are rotated out routinely.

What we do with it

We use contact details solely to respond to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own use. Our infrastructure runs on Amazon Web Services in the United States, so the data above is processed there.

Your choices

If you would like the information from an inquiry you sent us corrected or deleted, email mike [at] jarrett [dot] group and we will take care of it.

Visitors from the UK and EU

If you contact us from the United Kingdom or the European Union, the UK GDPR or EU GDPR may apply to the details you send. For that data, Jarrett Group is the data controller, reachable at the address below. We process your inquiry on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to it, we keep it only as long as the conversation warrants, and we do not use it for marketing or share it with third parties. Our servers are in the United States, so your data is transferred there when you submit the form.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. Email us and we will honor the request. You also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Changes

If what we collect ever changes, this page will change first, with a new date at the top.
